The reason is that the researchers from Cornell University found that the concentration of antioxidants in hot cocoa is so good almost three times more than green tea and five times stronger than black tea. The investigation also revealed that the fact that it is served warm is even better, as more antioxidants even released.
This means automatically more antioxidants in your diet means a positive effect on your hearta as a cup of hot cocoa is filled with 611 milligrams of gallic acid, a phenolic compound which is being used to treat diabetes, renal disease, and internal bleeding.
